Agapanthus ‘Sweet Surprise’

African Blue Lilies are an extremely durable variety, requiring little maintenance. Agapanthus ‘Sweet Surprise’ is a compact plant that produces umbels of pale blue flowers, which when fully open feature a wonderful ‘star’ with a unique navy stripe along the centre of each petal. These blooms are borne from late June to August on rigid, upright stems that ascend from clusters of linear, semi-evergreen foliage which makes perfect ground cover. Agapanthus ‘Sweet Surprise’ is an excellent cut flower choice, but is equally suited to brightening up patio containers and improving the front of perennial borders. Height: 60cm (24″).
